Wildiley Barroca embodies the greatness of São Tomé and Príncipe, taking the name of his homeland to the four corners of the world with commitment, passion and unwavering vision. Dynamic and multifaceted, he has distinguished himself as an entrepreneur, jurist, writer and leader, guiding initiatives that drive sustainable development and strengthen the Pan-African spirit. With a trajectory marked by leadership and impact, Wildiley was the first young São Toméan to join the Pan-African Youth Union, where he served as Vice-President and Coordinator for Central Africa. In addition, he played fundamental roles in the Government of São Tomé and Príncipe and in institutions such as the National Youth Council, the Alliance Française, the Superior Press Council and the Local Authority.
As a writer and poet, Wildiley transcends borders, contributing to several international publications and launching his solo work Apuros da Minh’Alma Errante, reaffirming his commitment to knowledge and culture. His talent and influence have made him a true ambassador of African thought, bringing reflections and dialogues that are fundamental to collective progress.
On August 22, 2025, Wildiley will be in Ghana to lead a high-impact event at the British Council Auditorium in Accra. Under the theme "Reawakening Africa: A Call to Duty", this will be another opportunity for him to share his vision, unite forces and inspire future generations. His presence is not only representative, but transformative, reaffirming his mission to build a stronger, more connected and prosperous Africa.
